Step-by-Step guide to visit ADIYOGI Bangalore (Chikkaballapur) – Isha Foundation
When I visited the ADIYOHI Bangalore, that time I was staying in Rammurthy Nagar, Bangalore. From there it was around 70 km. I went there using my bike. It was an awesome journey. If you go via public transport maybe you’ll miss that enjoyment. So if you’re staying in Bangalore I suggest you go by bike only. Now let’s go to the point.
What will be the Travel Cost of ADIYOGI Bangalore?
The cost will vary based on the place you’re staying. I’m going to give you an estimate from Bangalore to Chikkaballapur. There is a Three-way journey which is, you can go through your Bike, Bus, and flight.
If you go by your bike then it will be around 70 km. If you take the flight then it will be around 52 km. There is no direct Bus, If you want a budget trip then yes, a Bus is an option but for that you have to go to Mejestic, and from there, you have to take a Bus to Chikkaballapur. It will be around 62 km. Once you reach there again you have to take an Auto or Bus and your journey will be around 10km. Keep in mind the Auto will take only ₹20. Also, You can take Ola or Uber. I’ll recommend you take your vehicle or take Ola or Uber. It will be safe. Otherwise, it will be a little hectic.
During my Journey, I took some Amazing Photos
I will suggest you visit the Isha Foundation early in the Summer. So, there will be not that much Hot Ambiance and your journey will be smooth.
Once you see the entrance gate from there you’ve to go 2.5 km from the top of the hill. The view of the gate will be amazing and trust me you’re going to enjoy that moment a lot. That moment I can’t explain by the words.
I will recommend you, Do not use your mobile phone and come out from all the social media and enjoy the view. Only use your mobile if you want to take photos or videos of that moment.
What will be The Best Time to Visit ADIYOGI Chikkaballapur?
The best time to visit ADIYOGI Bangalore is early in the summer or during the Spring. Because in Winter there will be a lot of fog and it will not allow you to enjoy the nature views. Also, the rain can come suddenly which will be a big problem since the area is still under construction. I visited the place early in the Summer and still, there was a lot of Fog in the morning because that is the complete hills area and almost 10 hills are surrounded by ADIYOGI.
You can check the price from various booking centers at minimum cost:
Where to Get Good Food While Visiting ADIYOGI Chikkaballapur?
In the main area or near the Isha Foundation I found only a few shops. You have to take food with you before visiting the place. The area is under construction so there is no good shop inside the place. Although there is a veg restaurant near the parking area, I’ve not tried it and don’t know about the food quality. Remember, do not take non-veg with you :).
After the entrance, there will be a “Prasadham” counter, and paying ₹50-₹100 you can take that and do the “Puja”. As of now, there is only “Suriya Kundam” to do the Puja.
Once everything is done there will be the 112ft main statue of ADIYOGI. There you can do “Parikrama”, Yoga and so many things.
Where You Can Stay if You’re Visiting ADIYOGI Isha Foundation – Chikkaballapur?
As I told you the place is still under construction so there is no nearby place to stay. If you want to stay then you’ve to go back to Chikkaballapur and there you might get a few Hotels.
